Vehicle description
M1038 HMMWV. The vehicle is a museum asset ( 501C3 tax exempt) and the funds will be used to purchase more museum items. As such you MAY be able to have the vehicle funds listed on your taxes as a donation (check with your tax person)
Description is as follows
Late 1980s production SN 42XXX.
Was last with HHC III corps at ft hood and well maintained till tur n in (not sitting in a field someplace for years)
Has many upgrades.
6.5 motor GEP (replaced at some point)
Starts, runs and drives (needs PS pump replaced will be replaced by certified mechanic this week at my cost) generator runs fine and charges bat. Shifts well
Comes with:
Winch 3 high back seats (upgrade) Brush guard (upgrade)
Armored grill (upgrade)
Hard top with 2 storage doors
4 x X doors in good condition (standard X doors) IR plate for upper hood (upgrade) Tow bar (HMMWV)
Slave cable
Ext Can be repainted green, tan, camo for 200.00 extra
Stored inside for last 2 years
Can provide sat. pics of being on ft hood
