Up for sale is a clean great running 1985 AM General 5 ton M929A1 dump truck. It is showing ONLY 1200 miles and 81 hours of operation from the the 2010 Military rebuild update! , plenty of life left in it very clean truck. It has 48,000 lbs rears axles spring and 20,000 front axle springs, very stout truck. Pay load of 15 tons. it has a 10 foot bed about 5 yard but side boards can be added to double volume, It has the NHC250 250 hp 6 cylinder Cummins in it which runs great. Behind that is an Allison 5 speed automatic backed by an air shift 2 speed transfer case. All functions like heat and lights operate fine. The paint is in good shape We did not repaint this truck it was this clean when we got it , interior is in good shape also, the 1100R20 Goodyear GL177 tires are 95%+ The 6 wheel drive works also. I have used these dump trucks in the past and they are very handy and strong. 6 wheel drive makes these a perfect truck for that soft or muddy job. We stock PTOs for these truck and can offer full wet kits for any of the M900 series trucks It does have full air brakes on it You are more than welcome to come inspect the truck Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm and on the weekend by appointment only.
