Up for auction, my 1989 AM General Humvee, M998. This truck has been used on the weekends for many years since I"ve had it. I"ve bought about 30 of these rigs throughout the years and this is the best one I have owned. The truck runs and drives great, engine has 14K miles. The 6.2 motor starts on the first crank and idles smooth. Oil pressure when engine is running at operating temperature is about 45psi, generator charges correctly, operating temperature runs about 190 degrees. All lights, horn, turn signals, wipers, heater and gauges operate normally. Transmission and four wheel drive work perfectly. Truck has a small power steering leak and a drip of motor oil from time to time, nothing major. Truck has a new set of glow plugs. The new tan 4 man top is about 1 year old, I have all 4 doors but the front doors are not shown in my pictures. Tires are about 80-90%. The radio equipment and antennas should be operational, they are not hooked up and I have never run 24 volts to them in order to test any of the radio equipment. Rear seats have some tears, but I have some replacement seat cushions that I will include. The body is in good condition, there are some chips and cracks on the corners of the hood and obviously the truck needs paint. I like the paint the way it is, but others might prefer a fresh coat of paint. I have a clean street legal title, the truck can be registered and driven on the streets.
