NO RESERVE Street Legal 1987 M998 Humvee has a clear Louisiana title and current inspection. This vehicle is for sale to US citizens only, due to Government Regulations. It has several updates including the 6.5 Diesel, oil coolers, 3 point seatbelts , the updated parking brake and updated fuel filter. I have owned this Humvee for a little over 2 1/2 years and have put around 4,000 miles on it . It has been through our shop, we replaced all fluids, replaced fuel lift pump , all 4 half shafts, heater core, windshield washer fluid tank and pump, all of the seat cushions, soft top, rear curtain,cargo cover and various other items, and installed a keyed ignition switch, electric engine fan to help with cooling and also installed a manual override switch to the factory engine fan control system "one of the few problems with Humvee"s". I just replaced all 4 doors with new 2017 manufactured doors from Breton industries and all 4 tires. It holds around 58psi oil pressure at operating temperature, with no vapor or smoke. I"m a Army Veteran and a Military Vehicle collector, I have owned at least 11 different military vehicles including CUCV Blazer,A2 and A3 bobbed 2 1/2 tons, 5 tons and even a M920 20 ton and this is the most fun and easiest to drive by far. And for those people who say that Humvee"s are slow and won"t go over 50, I can"t speak for all of them but I have had this one over 80mph. I have well over $20,000 in it and the ONLY reason I"m selling this Humvee is because I have bought another Humvee for my next project and need the money for the build.
