AM General 6x6 M916 Tractor Truck Up for sale is this 1980 AM General M916-A1 6x6 Semi Truck/Tractor with winch. It is in good condition, starts right up and runs fine. Would make a great truck for logging, vehicle recovery, heavy equipment hauling and recovery.

Cummins NTC 400 Big Cam Turbocharged Diesel Engine.
Caterpillar 7155 16-spd Transmission. New Cat shifter.
Four-way oscillating fifth wheel for use with a 3.5 inch kingpin. It is rated at 70,000 lbs. vertical load and 200,000 lbs. drawbar pull. This fifth wheel is designed for towing a trailer on uneven or crowned country roads.
Heavy Duty Oshkosh Transfer Case, Inter-Axle Differential Lock.
45,000 lb Hydraulic Drag Winch with 7/8" cable.
3.5" Kingpin, Pintle Hitch.
Rear Tandem Axles: Rockwell SUHD rated at 58,000 lbs, differential lockup capable.

Details on condition:
Paint is faded, has small dings and scratches. There is surface rust in many areas. There is heavy rust on fenders behind front bumper. Winch has not been tested. Hydraulic reservoir is empty and would take 50 gals of fluid to fill and test.
Spare tire is flat.
Running lights in back sometimes don"t come on when headlights are on - or sometimes stay on when headlights are off. There is a small leak in the radiator hose that goes into the heater core.
