NOTE: This is not an H1 or Hummer, it is an actual decommissioned (street legal) military vehicle.
1998 AM General M998 "HMMWV", original soft top, 6L diesel engine, 3 speed automatic transmission. ~14,000 miles. One of the very few street legal and California titled M998s!
This vehicle was acquired from government auction and fully inspected and retrofitted by a company that specializes in restoring and converting M998s.
Modifications include:
Dark gray "rhino liner" coating paint job Always on rear mounted camera and display (used as a rear view mirror) Independently switched forward and left/right LED off-road lights Manually switched rear LED lights (acts as backup lights) Interior LED light strip lighting Aftermarket keyed ignition Aftermarket door locks USB phone charging port Upgraded cloth seats with armrests and seatbelts (see notes below) AM/FM Radio with Bluetooth and 4 speakers AIR CONDITIONING Also included: 24v jump start unit (batteries are fine, but cannot be jump started from regular cars if something happens) Custom fit Coverking car cover Assorted parts for VIC-1 intercom system I had planned to install (incomplete set)
Notes: Weight is approximately 2.5 tons, due to the always on 4WD it cannot be towed You are responsible for pickup and transportation to your final destination One of the plastic vents on the AC unit has a broken fin, cosmetic issue Metal light bar starting to show rust, could use some paint Rear speaker box needs new wire ran to it Rear passenger seatbelt has a broken buckle Soft top is in good condition, but was never intended to be waterproof!
