Here"s your chance to relive your military days in style with this 1993 AM General M35A3 "Deuce and a half". This truck is in good shape with just under 21K miles on the clock and runs well. This is an A3 model so it has the turbo Caterpillar diesel mated to the Alison automatic transmission. For those of you that have driven older deuce"s in the past, this means it is actually quiet enough that you can have a conversation with a passenger when driving. You don"t need to wear hearing protection while driving. No high pitched whistle to pierce your eardrums ! :-)
Everything works including the blackout drive lights and, aside from larger tires, is in its original, unmolested military form. It is titled in the state of Colorado and is street legal.
As mentioned above, tires have been upgraded to 395/85/20. Tires have probably 75% tread left. There is a full spare and wheel that goes with the truck. The CTIS (Central Tire Inflation System) is intact however the inflation valves have been removed from the wheels. They are included with the sale if you wish to reinstall them.
There is some normal wear and tear as expected for a truck of this age. Some of the plastic is cracked and flaking off on the steering wheel and there is some minor rusting on the front fenders. Troop seat are intact and includes the rails and a desert tan cargo cover. The cargo cover is not military issue and has some wear and tear as well.
Currently it has a truck and a car battery in the battery box. It does ok when warm but really could use a matched pair of truck batteries to be right. The ether system is intact but has never been used since I have owned the truck.

Shipping or pickup is the responsibility of the buyer. This truck has been registered as a 2.5 ton truck and does not require a commercial drivers license to drive in Colorado. Check with your local DMV if you have any questions for your state.
This truck is a been a lot of fun and has been used for shows and parades. It has been veteran owned and loved and we are hopeful it continues its life in that spirit!
To the purchaser, cash, in person is preferred to transfer possession of title and vehicle. Any other method will require funds to clear completely before title and/or vehicle is released. A $500 deposit is required within 72 hours of auction end.
