29’ 1969 Airstream Ambassador International • Last year of true Rosewood Veneer. After 1969 cabinetry/casework was cheap laminate. • Front Queen sized banquette/bunk. Newish upholstery • Central kitchen • 3 burner cook top • Newish Domestic Fridge- Gas/electric: Works perfectly • Original oven deleted and replaced w/ custom casework • Far more storage than stock • Original sleeping divider • 2 mid-ship bunks (Newish upholstery) w/ storage above and below. Original storage trays included. • Full bath @ the rear • toilet, sink, shower • 2 large wardrobe closets
Flooring, upholstery, & some finishes have been updated. Casework and bath are original & intact
Lighting with bulbs function and are original. A couple have missing covers.
Brakes work are in great shape Newish tires Tows beautifully behind any 1/2 ton truck or comparable SUV platform 3 out of 4 original hubcaps included (the 4th is somewhere in the woods just N of Galena Lodge) 2- 10 gal propane tanks w/ updated hardware Newish Zip-Dee Awning Newish Front deflector Window Newish water pump Original potable water tank Solar system & enhanced batteries Two new ceiling fans Both Grey & Black tanks are sound and leak free There is a small exterior leak at the waste connection fitting - NOT in the body of the trailer.
The front dent is recent and could be repaired by an automotive body shop.
This trailer is a very solid unit. It spent close to 20 years as a guest cabin in Yuma AZ before being purchased by us. At that time all that was required to get it from AZ to ID was new tires and light bulbs. It’s been used without drama ever since. It is fully functional as is or could be a great candidate for a full restoration. The 1969’s are a very desirable year as it was the last year of the solid veneer casework and still had the high-grade aircraft aluminum skin. If desired, the buyer could have this trailer polished to a mirror finish.
