Vehicle description
As is! 220K miles, some rust (see all pictures) mechanically in good condition, as far as I know. Running just fine. Just took it on the trip a couple months ago. Upgrading to a camper with more seats, as we just became a four person family. This camper seats 3. I am the second owner of this camper, before me it was owned by an elderly couple that only took it on a few visits to Alaska to visit their daughter. I have owned it since 2002. Unfortunately it was too tall to keep in my garage, hence the rust on it.
Propane stove and furnace run well. We never really used the water tanks or toilet / shower. . it all works well but the disposal hose would need to be replaced, it has some holes in it. There are some solar panels to run some of the interior lights as to not drain the van battery. There is an air conditioner and a microwave that will only work if plugged in to an electrical outlet (like the kind at a campground) the propane gauge does not work, so it"s wise to just fill the propane whenever leaving on a trip. The outside driver side step to get up to the door has torn off, but can be welded back on.
The back has a bench and dining table set up, the table can be removed and the benches push together to create a king size bed, which is very comfortable. The front passenger seat spins around and to the seat behind it to create another single bed, which I"ve never really used. Furnace works well, and you can take a camping trip and sleep comfortably in the winter. . I"ve done it! You can cook yourself a meal on the stove, and hook up a laptop or small TV to watch movies.
If you are not familiar with these types of campervans, I would do a little research before purchasing. The price reflects the condition of this camper, it has certainly been used a lot. Some of the curtains have some rips and stains, but of course those can be replaced.
I used to have a large hound dog that did all my traveling with me, and although I will be having all of the Interior shampooed, I figured I should disclose that fact.
It was always me and my boyfriend and I our very large dog traveling very comfortably all over the country in this camper. So it is great for a couple. After having my first son, we did a couple trips with him, and were still quite comfortable as he was just a toddler and we all fit comfortably in the large king bed.
She definitely still has some trips in her, but needs a little TLC. Would love to see her go to a good home!
Obviously, pickup only. In Chicago Illinois, 60634.
