Vehicle description
If you"re at this auction, you already know what you"re looking at. Essentially, this is a late 80"s/early 90"s Toyota RV with a BLANK SLATE to create whatever you"d like. I traveled about 15 hours to pick this thing up when I first bought it. I had researched and researched and researched and stalked listings for months before I finally got this one. I successfully changed the title to make it an RV as well! This is HUGE because it makes the insurance DIRT cheap. When I added it to my policy, it cost me an extra 10 dollars a month with Erie insurance. The original owner of this vehicle was a St. Louis Rams fan who took the vehicle to Rams games to tailgate every weekend. Logos are easily taken off if it isn"t your style. Truth be told, I thought it looked pretty cool so I left it on lol. I"ve actually got a lot of beeps on the road and compliments in general on it. Pretty crazy for a vehicle made in 1990. When I got the vehicle, I had all the ambition in the world to build it out and move out to the west coast. Unfortunately, like many things in my life, it just got pushed aside and pushed aside until I no longer had any motivation to move, let alone build out an entire RV by myself. It really hurts my soul (seriously) to sell this but I could use the money (who couldn"t) and I"ll probably never actually do it. Note: I will be taking some photos of the interior. For some reason it didn"t transfer from my phone. But the interior is completely bare besides a shelving unit. Think the inside of a U-Haul. SOLAR SYSTEM: I am including everything you"ll need to install a complete solar system in your vehicle. I previously had it powering my entire cabin in the woods before I sold it(you can see this in the pictures). Included is the following: - (2) Two massive 260W solar panels - 5000W inverter - 40A Renogy Charge Controller - 2X Trojan AGM Deep Cycle Batteries(these batteries are selling for around 500 bucks online most places, these are not some cheap golf cart batteries) - All misc connectors and wiring needed
Best things about this vehicle: - Previous owner had the engine completely rebuilt less than 5,000 miles ago. I drove the thing hours and I"ve used it a bunch to transport things since then. It"s solid. - On my long drive taking this thing back, I got over 20mpg going 65. Granted, I had no load, but that"s pretty impressive. - Can fit in ANY standard parking spot. This is especially critical for neighborhoods in California, Oregon and Washington state - it fits under the length limit so you can park it in some of the residential neighborhoods that ordinarily ban vehicles like this. This is also a huge benefit for some of the bigger state parks. - Hardly any rust underneath for a vehicle that was made in 1990. - Clean slate to make your build any way you"d like. - Super easy to drive/control. If you"ve ever driven a bigger RV and you saw something cool you"d like to stop and see but you can"t due to the size of the vehicle, you know exactly why one like this would be so beneficial.
Now, keep in mind, the thing is 30 years old so it isn"t a brand new vehicle. It has a CEL for an oxygen sensor. The e-brake light has stayed illuminated from the minute I bought it and I"m not sure why, seller had no idea why either when I asked him about it before buying. Door locks are finnicky. Overall, though, I don"t think you could hope to find a 1990 Toyota truck in better condition. It will need to be picke d up locally in Toledo, Ohio. Cash sale. I"m open to offers but nothing crazy. NO TRADES.
