Vehicle description
American General M925A1 - 17262 Miles.
Truck is in perfect operational condition, meaning: absolutely everything works as it should - motor starts instantly, lighting, winch, horn, gauges, air system, 6x6 system, low range, high range, and blackout system all perform as they should, tires all hold air perfectly, electrical system is clean and without any modifications. The truck drives, steers, and stops perfectly on or off highway. Comfortable driving speed tops out at around 50/55, above this range you begin feel the 53” off road tires.
When this truck came into the civilian market, the following components were replaced with new components - fuel shut-off valve, blackout light switch assembly, all batteries and battery cabling.
The unit was built in 1986, and underwent a complete military overhaul in 1992. It spent the rest of its life as a troop carrier at a southern US Airforce base. It was auctioned to civilian market a couple years ago, and has lived at my farm since. This sale includes a complete set of military troop seats, and a new air line and attachments for external compressed air.
It has a clean MO State title, and is lisenced in Kirkwood, and insured through Hagerty auto insurance at an annual rate of $200. The myth that these vehicles are difficult to make street legal is completely false, it took me less time and effort than processing my motorcycle.
My family named it Tugger due to its bold presence (and the 20,000 lb winch).
I think I covered everything, Let me know if you have any questions - if you’d like to see it, it lives at my farm in Salem MO, I’m down there about every other weekend, and wouldn’t mind making a mid-week trip if you’re serious.
Thanks
