M923A2 5 Ton BMY Military Army Truck. Condition is Used. Local pickup only. This is a great running truck that starts up every time, even when it is 20 degrees. It has an 8.3 Cummins Diesel with a Turbocharger. It has a clean Pennsylvania title. It has a small leak in the softtop roof, but nothing serious. I have the tarp for the back and the metal crossover pieces but the wood in the crossovers needs replaced. It has a 14 foot bed and a full size like new spare tire. 3 of the tires have slow leaks, only one that needs filled every week. It was rebuilt by the Army in 2010. It has the super single tires on it. The auto tire inflation system is not connected. It has a 5 speed Allison automatic transmission. The drivers door handle needs replaced. I currently have the muffler off so it really sounds off. It can easily be reinstalled. It is currently insured which costs about $350 a year. I have an antique license plate on it. I will take you for a ride if you want to bid on it but due to liability issues I won"t allow test drives. This is a BIG truck and weighs 22,000 pounds. I don"t know what the MPG is. I have driven this on 100 mile trips and think that it would be safe to take anywhere, although it comes with no warranty because it was made in 1990 and anything that old can break anytime of course. I will be happy to answer any questions you may have. I have owned this truck for 2 years and am selling to get a Corvette. As Richard Nixon says, "I am not a crook", however I really am not. The odometer shows about 12000 miles. Cruises at about 55 MPH. I am pretty sure you have to be a US citizen to buy this and it can not be shipped overseas.
