Vehicle description
40" Country Coach Intrigue diesel pusher with Cummins engine, Allison transmission, on a Gillig chassis!
This is a great coach!
If you know about RVs, you know about Country Coach. And if you know about Country Coach, you"ll understand why we absolutely love this coach.
Unfortunately, we are moving internationally and have no way to bring the coach with us. This is a great coach with which we’ve had many enjoyable memories, including a family trip to Florida (1,200 miles with no issues whatsoever) and many visits to Pennsylvania, Maryland, New York and New Jersey camping sites. With a new set of tires, this coach is ready for its next adventure!
We bought this coach 4 years ago and have since upgraded the following:
- new shocks (original manufacturer) - new injectors (original Cummins) - new filters (original Cummins) - new axle seals - new brakes - new fridge vent covers and electronics - new house water pump - new inverter control/display board - new convection microwave oven - new coffee maker (underneath the top kitchen cabinet) - new rear view camera - new rear view monitor - new toilet (just because) - maintenance was performed obsessively and the coach drives great!
This coach is outfitted with:
- One large slide (doubles the size of the living room, extends on driver"s side) - Large patio awning on passenger side - 8.3L Cummins Diesel Engine (drives great) - Allison automatic 6 speed transmission (shifts smoothly and quietly) - Powertech diesel 7500 generator - Full bathtub and shower - Washer/dryer combo unit - Double door Dometic fridge/freezer - 450W Solar system on roof - 6 deep cycle AGM batteries - Bluesky MMTP charge controller - TriMetric solar charge meter with shunt - New (modern) rear view camera and screen - 100 gal diesel tank - 110 gal fresh water - 35 gal black water - 75 gal grey water
Mechanical:
(overall excellent condition)
8.3L Cummins diesel engine runs great Turbo unit is clean with zero oil leaks Allison transmission shifts smoothly and quietly Slide glides in/out smoothly at the push of a button On board 7.5 KVA diesel generator starts easily, runs smoothly, powering onboard appliances and charging batteries There is a hitch receiver and a multi pin plug on the back of the coach capable of towing a 5,000lbs vehicle with ease.
Interior:
(overall good condition, see photos)
The refrigerator runs on gas or electric and works great! Fantastic ceiling fans work well and have rain sensors that close if it rains. There is a propane stove top that works. Dual rooftop A/Cs with heat pump (one works on heat only; may need a recharge?) Propane furnace works great The cabinetry throughout is solid wood with corian countertops in the kitchen (the corian top is cracked a little - please see photo) There’s a queen sized bed in back as well as pullout couch in living room. This motor home sleeps 4! Front captain"s chairs swivel towards the living room. The commode and water system work great. Day/night shades on windows. Built in coffee maker. Flat screen TV on the front overhead TV antenna on roof. Lots of storage space in and out. Pioneer DEH-S5100BT in-Dash Built-in Bluetooth CD, MP3, Front USB, Auxiliary, Pandora, AM/FM, Built in iPod, iPhone and iPad Controls, Dual Phone Connection Stereo Receiver
Electric steps. Air leveling system. Glass surround full-sized tub/shower w/ skylight. Ceramic commode. Roof vent in bathroom. Separate bathroom sink area. No leaks
Outside:
Overall outside condition is so-so, with some paint faded and a small crack by the passenger side door. Damage is almost unnoticeable and cosmetic, and does not affect usability or function at all. It is fiberglass and can easily be repaired, but we bought it like that and it never bothered us, so we left it as it was. The body is fiberglass, with full metal passenger protection cage throughout the coach. Motorhome is equipped with one large slide (doubles the size of the living room, extends on driver"s side) Large patio awning on passenger side
Additional info:
The title on this is clear and has no liens This is on a fantastic Gillig chassis (as solid as they come) The Country Coach Intrigue was a top of the line luxury motorhome (with an estimated original price in 1996 of approx. $250,000) For more questions, feel free to message. Thanks!
Important Notes:
The vehicle is sold as is, where is. Prospective bidders are encouraged to inspect the vehicle before bidding. Please contact us to arrange inspection.
Tires have plenty of thread and have no leaks, but the new owner should replace them, as they are older than 5 years and should be changed periodically on a vehicle of this size.
The motorhome is also being listed for sale locally, so we reserve the right to cancel this listing at any time during the auction.
Please note that due to the cost of the item listed I cannot accept bids from buyers with negative and/or insufficient feedback and account history at this time. Thanks for understanding and I apologize for the inconvenience.
Buyer must pick up, or ship the motorhome within ONE WEEK after auction (as we are moving and cannot delay more than that).
Thanks for reading and happy bidding!
