2008 GMC 38 pass Hybrid Party/shuttle/charter/limo bus w/restroom W/New Motor And Trans 2008 GMC – C5500 – Top Kick- 38 Passenger Hybrid / Limousine/Party Bus W/ Brand New Motor and Trans I owned a few Party bus companies in Chicago, limos alive, Surreal limo and a few others, operated 9 Buses and We Won Best of The Knot for Years. I sold all the companies but was keeping this specific bus because. I just put in a brand-new motor and trans, just painted it but I’m being realistic now and realize… this is not the extra toy I need. Its been parked for years and I now no longer have an indoor parking spot so… it’s going to go to the highest bidder. I just had it taken to a shop and they changed all the fluids. . replaced a brake line or two. . and a few other things including a transmission plug. It was thousands of dollars but…. The BUS is still NOT perfect! But It has a Brand-New Crate Motor from Coffman’s, with maybe 2-3000 MILES on it, I have the receipts. It also has a Brand-New Re-Manufactured Allison Transmission by WELLER with a few thousand miles on it as well. Brand-New Paint job with only a few thousand miles on it. I painted it and parked it a few years ago indoors in my buddy’s shop.
· Clean and rust-free body, frame and under carriage. Which is a huge issue with Mid-West buses. It came from Atlanta in 2012 and we under coated it and then it was garaged most of its life here. · The front of the bus is Equipped with 16 individual black alligator leather-like seats (The interior pictures show the old tabletops, but the rest of the bus is the same. The tabletops in the pics cracked through 1 Chicago winter so I had real Oak Tables installed. That the only difference from the pictures. · On-Board Restroom / tile walls / floors. Equipped drains in the floor for easy cleaning. · The rear of the bus is equipped with 2 re-moveable, professional spinning Chrome dance poles, black alligator leather-like perimeter seating for 22 people in the rear of the bus. (38 people total) · Wedding planners love the bus since it can accommodate some individual seating for those that may need it.
