Vehicle description
RADIO FLYER REPLICA WAGONFully fabricated chassis by Turbo Spires of P.S.I. in Lakeland, Florida. Constructed from 2”x4”, 2”x2” and 1”x1” square steel tubing. Frame is a ‘32 Ford extended to 144” wheelbase. Engine is a Summit/Chevy 350 H.O. V-8 with Edelbrock intake manifold and 650 CFM Edelbrock 4-barrel carb. Transmission is a rebuilt Turbo 350 automatic with a Hurst shifter. Has a custom drive shaft and a rebuilt Ford 8.8 Police car locker rear end with 3.73 gears. Has dual cooling fans (one on motor and one electric). Has Cragar 360 chrome wheels, 15x6 in the front and 10x15 Nitto drag radials in the rear for that nice finished look. And the Flowmaster mufflers make a great rumble. Although never raced, it is known in Europe, Australia, Africa, the Middle East and the USA by way of Facebook, on TV in a segment of Channel 13 Fox and Friends and even had a phone call from Jay Leno. It was invited to the Lowes Auditorium in Charlotte, NC for a week long show and numerous parades at the promoter’s expense. Also seen on YouTube as one of the “20 Most Interesting Cars Ever”. The body is 12’ long and 6’ feet wide, wheelbase is 144” and it fits in a standard garage. This one of a kind vehicle was built to be a Radio Flyer Wagon, not an old car or truck frame with a wagon body and is the only one that I know of. Drives straight, fast and stops good with it’s 4 wheel disc brakes. Great fun to drive and you will get your picture taken. Great for ADVERTISING. Park this in front of your business and people will notice you and what you do. The “pull me over” red paint will hurt your eyes. One of the state motor vehicle inspectors I spoke with said that he had never seen anything like it. This wagon is fully street legal, inspected, titled and ready to drive. Additional pictures and information available on request.
