28 foot Four Winds motorhome. This is the class C with the Chevrolet chassis with the fuel injected 454 engine and automatic overdrive transmission .
We purchased this motorhome with a little bit of body damage. I will include a picture. Someone scraped a tree or something I couldn’t tell exactly what happened. But we professionally repaired it inside and out. We went through the motorhome front and back. We serviced everything and tested everything. We put a new starter and ignition as the other one had an issue. We had it cleaned up after everything was repaired. We put new tires on it. We then put a new carburetor on the generator and fuel pump and get it serviced and going. It’s better now than it would’ve been had nothing happened to it.
It’s a good motorhome with sleeping for six people. It has the booth that makes a double bed, it has the couch that folds to a double bed. Over the driver seats there is a queen size bed. In the master bedroom there is a queen island bed. You can open the door to the toilet room and it closes off the hallway and makes a private shower area. The kitchen has a little bit of counter space in pretty good cabinet space. There’s lots of drawers. There’s lots of storage inside and out.
We have professionally resurface the roof and coated it. The roof looks great and he is very good. There are no soft spots and no water leaks and no water damage. At least not that we have seen other than what we have repaired. Of course it be in an older motorhome there will be some cosmetic issues here and there but it’s a good looking motorhome and very solid overall. The engine is strong and smooth and the transmission shifts easily. The generator starts right up and only has 1190 hours total. The engine is solid and will easily go another hundred thousand miles if you take care of it. Simply keep the oil change like you should and just drive it. Great for deer camp or great for cross country trip with the family. I would trust his motorhome right now with my family on the road. It’s a good one.
It’s not a new motorhome but it’s a very good motorhome. We do our best to make sure that everything is like it should be. We do not sell at a high price because we try to give you a lot for your money. We don’t do a huge markup. So keep this in mind and realize it’s not new but it’s good. If it needed done we did it. If there’s something we did not do we would mention it to you. But it’s all taken care of and ready to roll as far as we know it needs nothing.
Delivery is available to almost anywhere for a fair price. We are located in Searcy Arkansas at 2410 Taylor Rd. We are 45 minutes from Little Rock pnational airport also known as Bill and Hillary Clinton national airport. Sorry about that. We can pick you up or if you’re within 300 miles or so of us we can fly over and pick you up at the closest municipal airport and bring you here. Delivery is generally $2 per mile One Direction using contract driver
