This prevents bed and floor warping. -1 piece bed sides. With a total of 7 breaks in the bed side it is stronger than a side runner on a bed side. We do use 10 ga. for our bed sides. This also allows for 1 seam inside the bed. Upgraded to Dexter Never Lube Brakes -battery power indicator on the remote -we caulk the open seams on our beds.
