2021 Black Series HQ19 Caravan with over $10K in upgrades !
We enjoy off-grid camping as much as possible and upgraded our 2021 HQ19 to enable us to live disconnected for weeks at a time. A few notable upgrades: 800W of Renogy Solar Panels, 600Ah LiFePO4 Battle Born Batteries, full Victron Energy componentry, larger propane tanks, McHitch just to name a few. Of course this will all vary based on usage, but with 600Ah of Battle Born lithium batteries we can easily run the Instant Pot, microwave, lights, furnace and more simultaneously without the concern of running out of electricity. The 800W of Renogy solar panels allows us to recharge quickly and often find ourselves powering most things with solar alone. All-in-all, we never find ourselves wanting for power. The 60lbs of propane allows us to last for about 30 days in sub-freezing temps. We’ve enjoyed our 2021 HQ19 immensely. Knowing we’d eventually sell it, we’ve taken great care of it throughout our travels. With all the upgrades and routine maintenance we’ve put into it, it’s more off-grid capable and reliable than when we purchased it. Professionally repaired, mounted on rear tire rack Upgraded wiring to support addition of solar panels, batteries and inverter Unable to get Sound System working (player shows audio is playing, but no sound) Does not include factory pillows Will include TV but not the mount and antenna Performed minor repairs throughout usage as needed including re-sealing countertop laminate and Dicor lap sealant around roof openings.
