2020 CTC Custom 6X10 Camp Trailer. This quality camper build was done with function and quality foremost as I intended on keeping it for a long time. (Needs have changed slightly, so I am plan to build another). This will be a lengthy and detailed description. For that I apologize, but feel a full description of it"s features are warranted. The build started after I looked at several commercially constructed trailers. All of which ran $16-20,000 - opted out as this trailer is. I knew I could build as good or better with a lot more insulation, making a true 3 to 4 season camper that would be comfortable off grid. The base was a well used 2005 cargo trailer. I gutted the interior, added 3 new C channel cross members to the frame, and added 2 layers of 3/4" plywood flooring. Flooring plywood was treated on all sides and edges with 2 coats of Thompson Water Seal. The trailer floor is solid, covered with wood plank look sheet vinyl, and should last a very long time. 3 leveling / stabilizing jacks. I cleaned and repacked the wheel bearings with quality grease plus added new seals. New trailer tires. Trailer walls are insulated with 1 1/2" dense foam (R9) insulation. The ceiling is dropped approximately 5" and has R-19 fiberglass insulation. Interior stand up height is approximately 5" 7". This trailer is very quiet inside.Features include: Tinted RV windows with screens. High Quality vinyl graphics. Roof racks. Constructed with ALL new components. A/C, microwave, 4.4 cu ft mini fridge. Full 30 amp electrical on 4 15 amp breakers. 1 for AC, 1 for microwave, 1 for 4.4 cu ft mini fridge, and a 4th for the remaining outlets. 13 electrical outlets total plus 6 USB outlets. Roof mounted Renology solar panel with charging controller on a sealed top maintenance free battery that powers LED recessed interior lightening and a high efficiency 12V cooling fan. Rear exterior LED lightening for backing into dark places or night time outdoor use. 1080p 32" smart flat screen can connect to wifi, and wired for cable. Plus DVD player in cabinet with room for 50 - 60 DVD movies. Beautiful Birch panel interior and rear accents. Queen size 6" tri fold memory foam mattress. A huge amount of storage space including MANY pairs of footwear in a recessed to shelf. Hidden but easy to Access SAFE for valuables, handgun, cash, etc.Kitchen area is constructed with Oak cabinet lowers, again with plenty of storage. Easy setup and pack up 180 degree canopy cover the rear and passenger side of the trailer making a nice covered outdoor space.To date this trailer build has been to the beach twice and on a full trip from Sullivan"s Island, SC, then up the east coast to northern Maine and to Indiana. About to be in route to FL for another 2 week trip. This camper has proven to be comfortable for 2, easy to pull, easy to set up and pack up, and convenient to stop for the night and jump in the back with security in free off grid parking, at a rest stop, truck stop, or Walmart. This trailer I allowed in the design space for the addition on a small raised platform (below the TV) that could be a bunk for small kids. Lastly, I spent over 2 months solid traveling and exploring with this trailer. It kept me comfortable and served me very well.Trailer is titled and registered.
