2018 Tiffin Wayfarer 24FW with less than 4,300 miles. This full-wall slideout model provides a huge floor space for this size motorhome. It has all the luxury Tiffin features such as 3 TV"s, 3 Fantastic fans, tankless water heater, heat pump. etc.- check Tiffin"s website for the many features. Some of the extra space shows up in storage areas, like having 2 hanging spaces and a nice-sized laundry hamper.
Some things we enjoy about this model: watching the over-size rear pop-up TV while sitting in the cab seats—sure beats craning our necks to see the one over the door; the feeling of space because of the big slide, extra window, front skylight, and abundant LED lights; and using the heat pump at the same time as the furnace for fast warm-ups on chilly mornings. We try to camp where there is a view, so we enjoy how much we can “see out” of this model.
Another thing that makes it seem more spacious is the dining booth instead of other clunky seating (we use the cab seats). But what we like best about the dining space is that we enjoy the view with the window open while having our coffee.
This MB Sprinter drives like a car and has plenty of power to pull a towed car. In fact, it does as well as class C"s and class A"s that we have owned—and besides, it doesn"t wander all over the road as some do. It has 3 cameras, GPS, lane-departure warning, etc. The Mercedes drives much better than Fords and Chevrolets—things like the cruise control behave as they should, and the quietness. Besides, the wife feels comfortable to drive it.
Always stored under cover. Never any smoking, cats, or children in this unit. Owned by a septuagenarian couple who have decided after 50 years of Rving that it"s time to call it quits. The unit is less than a year old and is still under warranty.
Buy this gently used motorhome and avoid all the warranty hassles of a new unit while saving a bundle on first year depreciation.
Also available is a BlueOx towbar and 2017 Chevrolet Sonic which is set up for towing. The Sonic is a perfect toad for the MB Sprinter—under 3,000#, 4-door, and super mpg. Great for running errands. I"ll even throw in a remote tire monitor set.
