Camper Features and Options
This gently used Grand Design Solitude fifth wheel features a rear entertainment layout, triple slides, a convenient kitchen island and LED accent lighting inside and outside the camper.
When you enter the camper you will notice the openness thanks to dual opposing slides in the main living and kitchen area. There is dinette and theater seating to the left of the entry door. Along the rear you will find a full wall entertainment center with a LED TV (that raises and lowers to allow viewing out the large rear windows), a fireplace with accent lighting and there is plenty of storage in the above and below cabinets. The fold out queen size sofa in the kitchen slide offers more seating for entertaining and sleeping.
You will find that cooking will be a pleasure with the amenities provided. You can enjoy a 18 cu. ft. four door refrigerator with top freezer, a three burner gas range with oven, overhead microwave with convection cooking and pull-out trash can drawer. There is more storage in this area with above and below cabinets. It has a full pantry and a kitchen island with a double sink. Also there is a side hutch that includes above and below storage which creates a great coffee area and cell phone charging center. You may choose an optional dishwasher in the end of the island as well. (Currently one is not installed.)
Head up the steps and find a coat closet, control panel and additional storage. At the of the steps you will find a complete bath. Here you will find a shower with a seat, toilet, medicine cabinet and a vanity with vessel bowl sink and storage below. There is a linen closet and a space saving sliding door that allows for more room in the bathroom and in the hall.
In the front of this camper you will find the master bedroom. Enjoy the slide out king size bed with pull-out ottoman at the foot of the bed. There is a dresser with a LED TV above and a full front closet that includes front shelving for shoes and more with a section prepped for a washer and dryer if you choose to add one.
From the time you purchase this camper you can start your camping experiences. All the cooking utensils, dining dishes, silverware and many other items are included. Also the camper has an All Seasons Package so you will stay comfortable.
You will appreciate the spacious exterior side pass-through and front storage that is under the overhang when loading and unloading your gear. Also this camper is equipped with a self leveling system that makes setting up a breeze. Other items included are a propane gas portable grill, tire chalks (x4), tire braking chalks and complete sewer hookup hoses (x2) with connection ends. There is a windup unit for that heavy electric shore line. Hoses and electric shore line are included.
To top it all off there is a slide back hitch for your truck that is included. This hitch automatically slides the camper back and away from the cab of your truck as you turn. It self latches as you back into it. This will fit a Ford or Ram, but not sure about other makes. The camper is currently pulled with a Ford 350 diesel. I recommend nothing less than a full ton truck with diesel engine, but that is only my recommendation as I have seen other individuals using three quarter ton trucks with gasoline engines.
