Vehicle description
Hello and thanks for browsing our Dutchmen Aerolite hybrid camper, which is ready to roll for your summer adventures. If you like what you see and read, let"s talk!
We bought it new and have had for 11 months. The camper is in excellent condition - practically as good as new. We do not smoke and we kept it stored indoors last winter. The hybrid camper is fantastic because you get so much more interior space with the bunks extending outside the coach rather than taking up precious space inside the coach. With the slide, the amount of space is amazing. Compare this 26-foot camper with a traditional camper and you will see what I mean. It really is no contest. We had nine people inside for a couple meals over Memorial Day. Don"t be intimidated: Setup is mind-blowingly easy. You"ll have the beds down and ready in no time.
You know what else is great about the hybrid? It"s like you"re actually camping, as you"re surrounded by Mother Nature. It was amazing listening to the symphony of frogs over Memorial Day. It"s like tent camping but better, since you"ll be high and dry, away from this spring"s killer mosquitoes and near a big fridge filled with your beverage of choice.
At merely 4,600 pounds, it pulls like a dream. There is a large power awning to provide plenty of shade. There are three true queen-sized beds with nice, thick mattresses. The couch - the most comfortable one we own, according to our son - also can be turned into a bed and the table can become a bed, as well, so you could sleep nine or 10 in here pretty easily. Gigantic water and gray/black water tanks for weeklong, off-grid adventures. Two propane tanks. Big fridge and freezer that automatically switches between electric and propane, depending on where you"re camping. There"s plenty of storage above and below the beds, the kitchen, pantry and under the dining benches. The bathroom is great - the shower is bigger than what I have at home. The AC will keep you cool. It is wired for TV, though we"ve never tried it.
It"s a fantastic camper . . we just don"t need it anymore. According to NADA, the used price on this camper is $21,450. I did a little comparison shopping for used campers on May 31. A used 2018 of the inferior Keystone Bullet is for sale for $18,995 in Florida. Camping World has a 2017 of this Dutchman camper for sale for $17,995 in Georgia. Camping World in Colorado has a used 2017 Forest River of this style on sale for $20,995. And that"s before CW tacks on its infamous fees for things like a batter and propane. You can find the specs here: https:/ www.rvusa.com/rv-guide/2018-dutchmen-aerolite-travel-trailer-floorplan-224es-tr36148 And if the link doesn"t show up, just type in "2018 Dutchman Aerolite 224es specs" into Google. I know you"ll love it as much as we do.
(PLEASE NOTE: The first interior photo is a stock photo from the manufacturer because the lighting is so good. The rest of the photos are of the camper.)
