We purchased this Little Guy camper back in January of 2018. We have had it out several times for some weekend adventures and we love it. The only reason we are selling it is to make a step to a 1961 Ford Van to convert into a camper. Seems like that might be a fun route and just hoping not to regret letting go of our Little Guy.
The Camper is the 5 Wide Rough Rider. The Rough Rider comes with a full Skid Plate belly pan in case you plan to take it off-roading. It actually came with a Pintle Ring, but my little Ranger has a 2" ball so we swapped to the 2" ball. It also came with Electric Trailer brakes (Checked them on my work truck and they work, but my little Ranger doesn"t have a controller and it tows flawlessly behind it without the brakes working. Rough Riders also come with leveling jacks on the rear and a dual wheel tongue jack to level it when camping.
Factory options include Water tank (I would guess 8 gallon), outside shower wand, Sink, Propane Stove (Thread tank into regulator on rear of camper), TV, Radio with DVD player (Never used). We also have the aftermarket Heat & A/C unit that sits on front basket. It hooks into vent ports in front wall. Works Fantastic on the cold nights. The A/C is WAAAYYYY over kill. Just using the Powered Fan in ceiling is more than enough to stay comfortable in mid to high 80s temps.
2017 they used all LED lighting for interior and exterior. This camper will work off the one 12v deep cycle battery (Excluding Heat & A/C) and we are including out Solar panel as well. We have a 30AMP cord we will include as well to plug the camper in at a camp site.
We ditched the thin, uncomfortable, 2 piece foam mattresses it came with and have a custom 1 piece mattress made. Dual layer foam, zipper cover to remove for washing, and it"s amazingly comfortable. Best upgrade ever! Mattress is a Slightly Smaller dimensions than a standard Queen Size Mattress.
If you wanna go camping and not have to buy a 1 ton truck. Get back into secluded remote areas and pull with any normal car or truck. . This camper is Perfect! ! Way better than sleeping on the ground in a tent, and you can have room for your gear on the way.
