We purchased this trailer over 2 years ago when it was near new ( was still running the paper temporary tag from previous owner ) with the intent on using it. It has been sitting since! We"ve never hauled a single car on it, sad but true. We outsource our hauling or use a single car trailer for our needs. Kaufman trailers are built tough to stand up to the most demanding users. This trailer is ready to go to work! Tires have 95% tread remaining. We bought this trailer needing a partial left side section of flooring that was missing. It looks as though the trailer may have been in a position in an accident where they thought cutting the floor out would help free it up from the incident it was involved in. We repaired it to like new condition. We"re certified structural and pipe welders, no worries there, just another day in the office. We found no other damage to the trailer and it pulls like it should. Because there was a total loss insurance claim filed by previous owner on the missing flooring, we had to have it inspected by the state of Alabama and issued an Alabama Rebuilt title. It can be titled, tagged and insured in any state. We"ve bought and sold a handful of gooseneck trailers (we specialize in vehicles) that we"ve bought from insurance companies, repaired, had inspected, and sold and everyone has been happy with them. I do have a new battery on trickle charge that I"ll include for the winch. I do not have a winch remote to test the winch but I feel it"s operational due to the fact that this trailer was practically new when we took possession of it. If you"re in Alabama we"ll have to collect 3% sales tax & $15 AL title fee on the purchase price. There are no dealer or doc fees.
