Vehicle description
Truly Tiny House on Wheels for the Minimalist. If you truly want to live a smaller life then LESS IS MORE!
UNDER 2000lbs, No Title! Bill of Sale is all that is required. Depending on your state you may not even have to register this trailer or pay taxes on it. Just one of many benefits to living this small.
I see a lot of "Tiny Homes" that require a GIANT TRUCK to pull. This is small enough to be comfortably pulled behind a Subaru Forester!
It is strange to see people trying to live small by packing as many amenities as a normal home offers, SEVERELY LIMITING TRAVEL in many practical ways, size, efficiency, maneuverability etc. This Tiny House on Wheels was designed for TRAVELING in the REAL WORLD! It is small enough to be moved by hand.
Perfect for any adventure, music festivals, rock climbing, ski shack, prospecting, ice fishing, research station, bird watching (I have seen some amazing birds out of these windows, I guess they cannot tell I am inside), hunting blind, mobile office or just to live small and mobile
The smaller size and insulated walls also create a very efficient space to heat or cool. The small window air conditioner is more than adequate to cool the space on its lowest setting. With the vent windows open it stays surprisingly cool in the open sun, especially with a little breeze. It is totally possible to sleep inside with nothing more than a fan in the heat of the day. I used a portable buddy propane heater last winter during the coldest weather and had to leave the windows fully open on the lowest setting to not get too hot! Using a survival candle clay pot heater setup would be a really efficient way to heat.
THE SOLAR WILL NOT RUN THE AIR CONDITIONER. 100 watts only. The solar is to run a 12v system that includes a brand new power inverter and 100w solar controller. I will even throw in a battery box. YOU MUST SUPPLY YOUR OWN DEEP CYCLE MARINE BATTERY.
This solar setup is adequate to run smaller accessories, lights, charge a laptop. If the trailer is properly positioned facing South and you supply a good deep cycle battery, it should be able to keep up with the mini fridge. I have not done anything with the mini fridge other than test it to make sure it works. It isn"t mounted, I never needed one but decided to throw this in for the next owner.
Freshly painted and remodeled with a few vintage decorations and touches. Comes with a very nice thick padded medical mattress. The mattress has a heavy vinyl covering and can be hosed off which is nice. I sometimes take it out and sleep under the stars.
LESS THAN 1000 MILES ON NEW HEAVY DUTY 6 PLY HIGHWAY TIRES. Very important for highway travel, the original 2 ply tires were only rated for 55mph!
Brand New LED lights, one installed in the pictures. Have the other and will include with purchase.
I AM 6"3 AND CAN STAND UP ENTIRELY IN THE BACK CORNER! Perfect for changing clothes, stretching.
* * QUILT, BLANKETS AND PILLOWS NOT INCLUDED* *, matching bed cover with snow flake pattern is included
* * This camper is home built, not professionally made in a factory. It is a great rig but it isn"t perfect. It was built on a dump trailer and I have re-enforced the dump swivel joint with some U bolts and a ratcheting strap to keep stress off of this fulcrum point. This has been fine for my purposes but it should be permanently addressed at some point by running some large bolts through the frame. This is not rocket science but I have to make sure the buyer is aware of this issue before you do anything severely off road* *
