A beautiful 45-foot motorcoach with a fantastic floor plan and all the power you need. Handles like a sportscar compared to the typical Class A coach and is rated to tow up to 40,000 lbs! This unit has been titled and used as a demo - Shown at RV shows and used for 3 short trips, it is truly in like new condition and a great buy!
The floor plan consists of a bath and a half with a vessel sink in the master bath to complement the oversized shower - even BIG guys can fit in this shower! A king size bed with air mattress (two sided individual control) in the master bedroom area, a leather couch includes a hide-a-bed in the living area and a cab-over bunk bed provides room to sleep 5 easily - and more if you get a little creative! There are four TVs - 2 in the living/kitchen area so you can see your favorite show no matter where you are, 1 in the bedroom and 1 mounted in the slide-out exterior sidewall. The TVs are connected to 2 satellite receivers and an in-motion satellite dish (Direct TV) and have DVD units tied to them as well. The wrap around booth dinette comfortably seats four at the table with a ton of additional space on the couch and room to spare in the kitchen! There is a wonderful cedar lined closet in the bedroom area, another large closet near the door that is pre-plumbed for a washer and dryer, plus absolutely a ton of storage in cabinets and drawers located throughout the coach - in addition to the large pull-out pantry!
Heated tile floors with local control cover the entire coach and a diesel/electric Aqua-Hot system provides continuous unlimited (when hooked up to a water source) hot water and quiet, 3-zone heating. With three roof mounted 15k BTU air conditioners, including heat pumps, you have the makings for a comfortable living space no matter the weather. Add in ceiling fans in both the living area and the bedroom for even more comfort! For added convenience, the water and holding tanks are heated and have over 135 gallons capacity for a great boondocking trip!
This is an all electric coach with no propane and is equipped with two 2,800 watt inverters, along with six (6) huge AGM coach batteries, to power the entire coach - including the residential refrigerator/freezer keeping food and beverages cold and fresh. All of the batteries (including 3 more large AGM batteries dedicated to the truck chassis) are tied to the 300 watt solar system to provide quiet power without the need to run the diesel generator - but the 12,500 watt Onan generator (approximately 165 hours use) is there when you need it! When you are in a campground, the 50 amp power cord is on an powered reel for easy removal and storage.
Outside you can sit under the dual, nearly full-length armless awnings with wind sensors for automatic retraction and worry free use on the passenger side while enjoying some fresh air, seeing the sites or watching your favorite ballgame or race on the wall mounted TV! Individual window awnings cover the large windows as well. No need to go inside to grab your favorite beverage with the 100 lb. refrigerator/freezer in an exterior storage compartment - super convenient for tailgating or just keeping the "in and out" traffic down.
The Volvo truck cab is known as the quietest and safest on the road. Designed for the long haul, it has adaptive cruise control and an RV navigation system to help get you to your destination, side and rearview cameras plus two spare cameras to mount in/on your trailer to monitor the load and what is behind you. Both seats are fully adjustable with air suspension, 3-zone lumbar adjustment, heat and message built in. The cab air conditioning is fantastic and the ability to close the cab off from the coach provides much improved HVAC control and you do not hear the traditional "dishes rattling" of a typical motorhome. This is a great place to be when you are making the trip down the road!
To be honest, there are two minor disadvantages to a truck conversion versus a Class A diesel pusher. First is that the cab is a little more noisy since the engine is in front of you. It is not loud by any means, but compared to a pusher, where the engine is 45 feet behind you, there is some engine noise. The second is that, while there is a ton of storage in the exterior side compartments and inside, there is no "pass-through" storage due to the drive line going to the two rear axles - both of which are powered and dual wheeled with locking differentials! The two disadvantages are truly minor inconveniences when you look at all of the advantages of how the coach drives, the available power - remember 600HP and 2,050 lb./ft. torque! - combined with the automated manual transmission, towing capacity of 40,000 lbs. (if you are towing a car or a small trailer for the toys, you really don"t even know it is there) and the ultimate advantage is the safety of having the engine in front of you and Volvo"s dedication to safety that even includes a roll protection system built into the cab! Volvo semi truck chassis are known hands down to be the safest trucks on the road today. There is no better or safer way to take your family on a trip! Drive a Volvo truck conversion and you will know how truck drivers are able to put in the miles they do. It is almost stress free and very similar to driving a powerful SUV!
