2017 Aluma 7816 lightweight open car trailer with installed air dam and spare wheel/tire kit. Base weight is only 1150 pounds. Equipped with tandem 3500 lb. rubber torsion axles, electric brakes with breakaway kit, 14" radial tires on aluminum wheels, removable aluminum fenders, extruded aluminum floor, front and side retaining rails, two 5" aluminum ramps with underneath storage, LED lighting, recessed tie rings, etc. Bed size is 77.5 inches by 192 inches.
This trailer was purchased brand new in Bakersfield, CA in April 2017 and used on only two trips from Avila Beach CA to Hood River Oregon and then back again, carrying my 2017 VW Golf R behind a 24" diesel Sprinter motorhome. I"m changing my setup to a truck camper, so both trailer and car are for sale.
Before taxes and fees the trailer, air dam and spare totaled $6,265. Out the door was just under $7,100. These aren"t cheap trailers by any means and are incredibly well built, lightweight and simply beautiful. Auction starts at $3900 with no reserve.
