Vehicle description
Located in Wichita, Kansas we purchased the 2016 37BT Challenger by Thor new in thespring of 2017 and it is the third RV we’ve owned. Our coaches have gottenprogressively larger as my comfort level to drive them has gained confidence. It is a 2016 production model. We’ve put only 7,000 miles on it and it stillsmells brand new when you open the coach door and the window sticker has notbeen removed. No pets or kids have been in it. I use it as a weekend getawayfor my girlfriends. It is advertised as sleeping 10, but that would have toinclude small-bodied children. Eight adults is more like it. I went with thebunk model because of its flexibility. There is a clothes rod at the top so ifyou want, you can just use the top bunk as storage, which is what we havealways done. The top bunk also folds down to make another seating area, whichis also nice with a large group. We’ve really enjoyed having a full bath alongwith the half bath, especially when six women were traveling together. And theresidential stainless fridge is fabulous! We’ve tucked away the original factorybedspread and pillows, so they are also as new. The interior is called Monte Carlo and the exterior is Terrazo FBP (full body paint). The electric fireplace comes inhandy on chilly mornings. There are 5 televisions (one for each bunk, one inthe master bedroom, one in the living room above the fireplace, and one outsidewith water proof speakers). There is a closet in the master where awasher/dryer could be hooked up. There is a portable small round table (factory)that you can put up between the coach chairs to give more dining space. We’vealways kept the coach in storage so it’s never been left out in the weather andwe move it regularly to prevent flat spots on the tires. There are three slides – one in the living room area whichincludes the dinette and couch, one where the bunks are, and one in the bedroomwhere the king bed is. The coach rides so smoothly driving down the highway, it’seasy to find yourself driving 70 or so and not realize it. I was particularabout the color scheme and sought out the chocolate colored seating to contrastwith the lighter flooring and walls. I personally prefer the gas V-10 engine. It has a lot of get up and go and I don’t have to search for diesel. The side camerason the mirrors make it easy to drive and pass in traffic. We’ve really enjoyed this coach and the only reason we’reselling it is because we are now buying a house in the town where we vacation. Here’s a list of standard equipment: Ford Chassis 6.8L Triton V-10 Engine, 5-speedtorque shift automatic transmission w/ overdrive, 8,000lb trailer hitch, auto-levelingjacks w/ touch pad controls, full body paint w/ gel coat sidewalls, fullbasement pass-through storage, power patio awning w/integrated LED lighting,slide-out room awnings, outside shower, heated remote exterior mirrors withside cameras, electric night roller shade on windshield, manual shad on cockpitside windows, reclining swivel leatherette captain’s chairs, aluminum wheels w/22 5” tires, high gloss hardwood cabinetry, leatherette sofa bed, booth dinette, roller day/night shades, electric fireplace w/remote control, side-by-sideresidential grade refrigerator w/ water and ice dispenser, 30” OTR convectionmicrowave, sold surface kitchen countertop, drop thru kitchen waste receptaclein counter, 12V attic fan in kitchen, 40” TV on always-in-view slide system, 32”television in bedroom, dvd player, sound bar, 32” exterior television, 1-13”and 1-24” tv w/ dvd player in bunk beds, Bluetooth enabled radio system w/exterior speakers, electronics power charging station, kind-sized bed inmaster, power bunk bed in cockpit overhead, 3 in 1 convertible bunks(bunk/wardrobe/sofa), Onan RV QG 5500 gas generator, 50” amp/120 Volt Service,Dual 13.5 BTU roof AC’s, emergency start switch, dual 6 volt auxiliarybatteries, 6 gallon gas/electric water heater, heated/enclosed holding tanks, whole coach water filtration system, 1800 watt inverter, washer/dryer prep, RAPIDCAMP wireless remote system, AM/FM radio w/in-dash CD player and backup monitorwith camera.
