Here we have a 2016 Refrigerated Dodge Ram Promaster 2500 Cargo Van With a "Reefer Van" Insulation Package and a Volta Air New Technology No Idle Reefer Unit the "e-Fer". This Refrigeration unit runs on the vehicles 12 Volt battery system. It is all electric so it doesn"t use fuel to operate making it better for the environment. The unit will run and shut itself off as to not run the vehicles battery down.It is capable of temperatures down to 32 degrees Fahrenheit in 90 Degree Heat.
No-Idle Electric Reefer
An entirely, 12V electric refrigeration unit, that does not need the engine to run to cool your products. This provides cost-savings when compared directly to an engine driven reefer unit. If you use your delivery van 5 times a week, stop 8 times a day for 15 minutes, with a 30 minute precool schedule you can reduce your fuel costs by $2,000 per year , and displace 4.2 tons of CO 2 Equivalent yearly.
