Vehicle description
2015 Ram Promaster 1500
Just under 80k miles. I converted this promaster to be a self sufficient camper which I’ve travelled the country and lived in for the last two years. As much as I’ve loved every minute of it, chapters end and it’s time to make some roots. I built everything out myself with the exception of the house electric setup and installing the fresh and grey water tanks underneath. Those were done by professional RV people. I have receipts for everything which amount to over $20k and all manuals for the electric components.
Electric: 300 watts of allpowers flexible solar panels on the roof 2000w go power! pure sine wave inverter 4 6v age 225ah Trojan house batteries make a total of 450ah on a 12v system Yamaha 1600w portable generator Renogy rover 40amp solar charge controller 6 gang switch box Gopower! 30amp dc/ac transfer switch Victory smart battery monitor 140 amp battery isolator to charge house batteries off the alternator while driving Dometic crx-65 refrigerator True induction 2 burner induction stovetop Maxxair 10speed reversible vent fan with shroud to use while in the closed position Rear vent fan for circulation
Plumbing: 20 gallon fresh water tank 20 gallon grey water tank Inlet and outlet for filling/emptying Small sink Shower and shower pan in a hatch on the floor Bosch tropic 3000 2.5 gallon mini water heater Shurflo revolution water pump Dry flush waterless electric toilet
Fixtures: Butcher block countertop IKEA white kitchen cabinets Upper storage on both sides for kitchen and clothing Small closet for hanging clothes and small storage Vanity mirror medicine cabinet Small bookshelf behind driver Secret safe bolted to floor Bedding storage drawer Salvaged tin ceiling Durable vinyl “wood” flooring Custom memory foam mattress with cooling gel Bench seat that folds down to be a full size bed Swiveling passenger seat Fold down desk/table Roof deck for stargazing/ summer beer drinking
This van runs perfectly and needs nothing to immediately start adventuring. There are a couple things I never got around to, but they are minor aesthetic trim pieces. The shower needs an enclosure curtain so water doesn’t go everywhere. Roof deck could use a restaining job. All recent mechanic work done at the Ram dealership. New lifters and top end work. New brakes. New shocks and struts. New motor mounts and trans mount. New cabin fan filter. Well maintained with all fluid changes and topped off last week. There are newer all season tires (12k mi since install). Gas engine and unfortunately no 4wd but I never had a problem, even in snow. The only thing that isn’t working is the house battery monitor display which I believe may just be the shunt it’s connected to. It’s an easy fix. I’m probably forgetting some other features, but come see for yourself. 5000 miles or 7 months left on top of the line extended warranty through Zurich. Mopar Ram standard 100,000 mi warranty as well. Feel free to ask any questions. Will ship or arrange to drop off on your dime. The title I possess is in my name and has a lien from Chrysler capital when I bought it from a Ram dealership in 2017. As soon as it sells the loan will be paid in full and the clear title released to you. I’m told the process can be expedited but I’ve never dealt with selling a vehicle with an active loan. In fact, if it makes it easier on your end we can discuss transferring over the loan and you only paying the difference up front.
