Vehicle description
This is a completely 100% made with love solid wood travel trailer that was built for our family by my husband who is a carpenter and in the construction business for 35 years. We have had so much interest in our little trailer, either while it was just sitting under our carport at home, from people walking by our house, or while we have traveled. People on the road taking pictures of it, at rest stops etc. . It is for camping! This is not your luxurious Class A . It is an upgrade from getting off the ground in a tent or an even smaller model travel trailer like a tear drop. We built this 3 years ago for our road trip across the country to see the National Parks and it has treated our family very well. We have taken it on 3 trips, Acadia National Park and all through Maine, The Adirondacks and this June across the country to WA state and back. This 3rd trip is when we replaced the tires so they were brand new with that trip so only 7000 miles on them. It is a solid trailer and we see it being for someone who wants to upgrade from a tent or a tear drop. This you can stand up fully in and walk around. Very easy to tow, very easy to pull, very maneuverable, easy to boon-dock with. Some of these pictures are us boon-docking at the base of Mount Rainier on the river where other small trailers would not be able to go. No electric, no toilet (we used an RV portable toilet) outside chuck box style kitchen on the back end (as seen in photos) Inside will sleep 2 adults and either 2 small children or 2 medium size but tight. We slept 4 adults and 2, 15 lb Shih Tzu"s but again, tight! It is perfect for a family with a small child or two or a couple small dogs. We are asking exactly what it cost us to build it. We want someone else to get the same enjoyment as we have. Kids are heading to college, we are moving on to a drive-able RV. This will obviously be a pick up only - zip code 08077 South Jersey, close to Philadelphia, Bucks County, Delaware and even Maryland. Here are the measurements and weight We only weighed it fully loaded for 4 people and two kayaks the weight was 1800 lbs. I would say to be safe, it weighs 1500, could be even less.
Cabin- 11 foot 6 inches Long 5 feet wide 5 feet 8" standing room
Overall trailer 16 feet long 6 feet 8" wide 7 feet 2" high
