One Owner 2015 Airstream Interstate Grand Tour in excellent condition. Always stored in doors. On 10/01/20 it had 26,226 Miles on Chassis and 6.3 Hours on Onan Genset. All Factory recalls performed and regular service performed by Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Service Center. The Coach is a pleasant freeway cruiser, easy to drive and maneuver; the Mercedes equipped V-6 Diesel motor has plenty of power and torque which allows the coach to accelerate and climb with remarkable ease. We’ve averaged 17.4 mpg with an average freeway speed of 70 mph. As you would expect with a vehicle of this level of care and minimal use, it has no known issues or defects. Our use has been largely as a touring coach, we’ve done three cross-country trips in the coach and a handful of drives up and down the West Coast of the U.S. during all of these we’ve relied only on the Solar/Battery system and an occasional use of the Generator (If you"re not plugged in and want to use the microwave) with a total of 2.1 hours (of the 6.3 total) being periodic cycling of the genset since most of its life is spent indoors.The following is a list of upgrades:1.Auxiliary Engine Battery– A Mercedes Benz option/upgrade. Performed by Mercedes Benz. 2.Upgraded Rear Camera System (superior to Airstream installed unit) using Factory Wiring Harness. Performed by CarTunes of Santa Rosa, Ca.3.Upgraded Kenwood Stereo System (superior to Airstream installed unit) including Blu-Tooth Phone System. Performed by CarTunes of Santa Rosa, Ca. 4.Custom hand-crafted Teak Bath/Shower Floor-Tread.5.Upgraded Refrigerator/Freezer Cabinet Ventilation (powered); performed by Airstream.6.Upgraded Solar Panels (2 additional 100-Watt panels) and system manager software/hardware; performed by Airstream.7.Upgraded “coach batteries” doubling original capacity; performed by Airstream.8.Under Coach LED lighting Upgrade (not available until 2018 model year); performed by Airstream.9.Custom “carpet runner” using Mercedes-Benz carpet stock; performed by California Upholstery in Santa Rosa, Ca 10.Upgraded Airstream Front Windshield and Driver/Passenger Door privacy screens (available only after 2018 model year). From Airstream. 11.Warranty: I purchased, in April or so of this year, an extended warranty on the engine/drivetrain (ONLY) which was all that was available. Again, it is only for the Engine/Drivetrain and nothing else. These vehicles (the Mercedes Benz Sprinter Chassis) are extraordinarily robust and are known to last for 500k miles. It’s a 5 year/60,000 miles from date of purchase (of the warranty) or 60k miles (above the mileage that was on the vehicle at the time the warranty was purchased) which means that should give you from April of 2020 to March of 2025 or 82,000 miles (approx.) which every comes first of engine/drivetrain coverage. Yes, there is a $100 per claim deductible.
