Vehicle description
This 2014 Radical SR3 is a spec racer that has reportedly won Radical Cup races and its enduro class at the 2018 PBOC Winterfest at Sebring. I acquired this car in 2016 and have added approximately 1,000 of the 2,400 indicated miles. Power comes from a mid-mounted 1500cc Suzuki four-cylinder that is mated to a 6-speed sequential gearbox.
Other features include a Quaife limited-slip differential, a fire suppression system, high downforce aerodynamics, adjustable suspension, a passenger seat, and much more. Routine maintenance and race preparations were conducted by Foreign Affairs Motorsport of Pompano Beach, Florida, including a service within the last few months.
The car utilizes a carbon-steel space frame and has a dry weight of approximately 1,200 pounds. Fiberglass bodywork on the example features a custom 3M vinyl wrap, and aerodynamics consist of a carbon composite bi-plane rear wing, high downforce front and rear diffusers, and composite front dive planes. The fully adjustable suspension includes front and rear unequal length wishbones, and the brakes are 280mm floating discs all around. Fresh Radical Racing spec Dunlop SP Sport 200/580 R15 tires are mounted. The car is said to be eligible to run in the Radical Cup North America series. Interior safety components include a pair of high-sided adjustable seats, composite head restraints, 5-point harnesses, shock absorbing foam, and a fire suppression system that is reportedly valid through 2020. The seller states that the car has a little more than 48 hours of total track use. Clutchless shifting is via air-actuated paddles with auto-throttle blipping. The carbon fiber dash-surround houses an AIM multi-function backlit LDC display and a quick-release Sparco steering wheel. The digital odometer shows 2,378 miles, approximately 1,000 of which have been added by the seller. The 1500cc Suzuki DOHC four-cylinder utilizes a dry sump lubrication system and routes power through a 6-speed sequential gearbox and a Quaife limited slip differential. The engine reportedly produces 260 horsepower. A 2018 service was conducted by by Foreign Affairs Motorsport in Pompano Beach, Florida, and the car is reportedly ready for track use. The car is eligible to run in any Radical series worldwide.
This radical is sold on Bill of Sale - Comes with a spare set of wheels with Dunlops mounted.
