Vehicle description
This is a 2013 Tiffin Allegrobus 43QGP that caught fire while on the road. Tag axle, diesel pusher, 1-1/2 bathrooms luxury motorcoach that cost over $350k new. Has fire damage that originated in the back. Fire affected rear 1/4 of coach, mostly engine compartment and rear bathroom. The front 3/4 of coach is all covered in soot from smoke. The soot cleans up nicely with warm water and soap. We took the front seats and couch out and cleaned them, they came out like new. Those items have been shrink wrapped and will be included with the bus of course. Needs windshield. Needs rear bathroom rebuilt, rear fiberglass, paint, etc. Engine block looks okay, although the engine will need to be pulled out and cleaned. At a minimum, it will need all new plastic pieces, sensors, wiring harness, hoses, pulleys, etc replaced. We do not have a way to verify mileage on this vehicle.
Engine is a Cummins ISL 8.9 liter turbodiesel, transmission is an Allison.
Unit has 4 slideouts. The front left slideout is electric and still works fine, the other 3 are operated hydraulically and will need new hydraulic hoses to make operable again. The hydraulic hoses for the rear slideout cylinders are burnt and thus the system isn"t holding pressure. The leveling jacks system will need new rear hoses too. This is a big project but well worth rebuilding. Salvage California title in hand.
The bus steers and rolls and all tires hold air. We can arrange continental USA shipping for you. It can be safely transported on a lowboy trailer and long distance cost would be roughly $3 per mile. A heavy wrecker will need to be present at both ends to load and unload the bus on trailer.
