We"ve had some many amazing adventures and have been able to see so many beautiful places that it"s hard to say goodbye, even with that night in Steamboat when it was -27 degrees outside, but the van was a toasty.
From waterfalls to national parks to perfect powder days, we"ve also been very comfortable doing daily things as we would in a "real" house like yoga in the "hallway" and cooking amazing meals. All of the comforts of home exist in our van, it"s just a "slightly" smaller space.
We are both consultants, and have been able to run and grow our businesses out of the van just like we did from our home office. But, I have a new opportunity that will require me to "settle down" for a bit to build a team in-person. So, it"s time to find this gal a new home.
The entire build-out and all modifications were down by me - a formally educated electrical engineer who has been an avid woodworker since the age of 10 and consulting for companies on fabrication and manufacturing for over a decade.

VEHICLE SPECS • 6 Cylinder 3.0L Turbodiesel • 2WD 5 speed automatic • In 2017, the DEF system was replaced by Mercedes under the emissions warranty. • We have both the standard tires and Bridgestone Blizak tires with less than 10k miles on them. They performed amazingly well in snow, ice, and ‘off road’ conditions.
GENERAL INTERIOR MODIFICATIONS • Wood (shiplap) headliner with LEDs throughout • Fully Insulated R13 ceiling and walls • Four large, custom overhead storage cabinets with locking mechanisms • 24” wide wardrobe closet. Perfect for coats, dresses or extra storage. • Ample storage under sink. We have our toaster, several storage bins, toilet paper and more in this area. • Waterproof, vinyl flooring • Front “black out” partition curtain • Insulated side window covers (Reflectix) • Passenger swivel seat • Locked safe in an area that is not obvious
BEDROOM • Futon style bed. When folded up, it"s the perfect spot for relaxing, reading, or working. When unfolded is a full size (54”x75”) bed. It"s a very nice memory foam mattress - SO comfortable! • Storage along the side each side of the bed. Plenty of room for socks, books, iPads, sunglasses, belts, purses, etc. Flushed with the bed platform.
KITCHEN + DINING AREA • Dometic Stainless Steel 3-Burner Stove and oven. • Sink with hot and cold water • Brushed stainless steel faucet and sprayer with retractable hose • Brushed Stainless steel water filter faucet with 3 Stage Britta water filter • Two brushed stainless steel dispensers. We use one for hand soap and one for dishwashing soap. • Stainless Steel Wall Mounted Spice Rack • 3.5 Cubic Foot refrigerator with top (separate freezer) • Solid Maple butcher block countertops • Pull out table made from Solid Maple butcher block. When pushed in, locks securely in place. It"s an awesome work desk and dining room table for us and guests. • Custom upholstered, USA made bench seats with memory foam padding. Bottom = 36″W x 16″D x 3″ Thick Back = 36″ W x 17″T x 2″ Thick. Sunbrella Demo Graphite fabric. • Five total drawers under kitchen area. Two very large drawers (pots, pans, baking trays, and cooking items, other is where we store dry food items-tall so can accommodate oversized items). Other three are a little smaller, but plenty of space for silverware, plates, knives, spatulas, Tupperware, coffee mugs, Nalgenes, Aero Press for coffee, small blender, wine glasses, tumblers, tea, coffee, and more.)
BATHROOM • Shower 24 X 40 shower with recirculating water system • 1.5 Gallons of water is recirculated, filtered and temperature controlled to reduce water consumption • Natures Head Composting Toilet (one of the best investments we made!) • Dispenser with room for four liquids (body wash, shampoo and conditioner) • Organization for toothbrushes and razors • Rack for toilet paper, lotion, miscellaneous bath items

HEATING + COOLING • Eberspacher Hydronic D5S heater diesel heater with High Altitude package, thermostat, and muffler. Keep us toasty all Winter in Colorado and Montana. • MaxAir Deluxe fan. Ten-speed fan thermostatically controlled. Keeps the van very cool and comfortable. Tested in Florida and California during Summer months.
