Vehicle description
If you’re in the market for a trailer, you’ll be hard pressed to find one as easy to use and versatile as this one. Here’s a link to the brochure for specs: https:/ haulmark.holtbosse.com/images/pdfs/specifications/Flex.pdf I used it primarily for transport my motorcycles but it also comes in very handy for trips to the local home improvement store, lawn mowers, furniture, golf cart, etc. When I bought this trailer I got all the options, this model has 6” additional height, 12 inch fold-down stabilizer jacks on all 4 corners, aluminum wheels including a matching spare, exterior spare tire mount, and a 18” high ATP stone guard on the front. In addition I added multiple cargo tie-downs, e-track, and coin flooring to the cargo area and loading ramp. The floor also has 3 mounts for Condor PS-1500 motorcycle chalks (The chalks are not included). I upgraded the safety chains to stainless steel, and original front jack to a Fulton F2 dual wheel. All the tires (including spare) are one year old. I service the EZ-Lube hubs every year. The frame on the trailer is all aluminum so it’s light, easy to tow, and move around by hand. The trailer pulls like a dream, you won’t even notice its there. The whole drawbar/hitch is removable which is great if you want to store the trailer in a small space and for added security. Two complete sets of keys are included. The top is removable. It’s a bit heavy (I’m guessing 250-300lbs) I’m able to remove it myself in about 5 minutes with a lift I made using Jeep Hoist-A-Top components and an electric 1000lbs 120Volt plug-in Warn wench pulley system. Once I remove the top I store it raised on the hoist system in my garage. I’m including this system with the trailer. The whole hoist set-up cost about $800. When I would travel with my big bike (BMW GSA1200 Adventure with full panniers) I wanted to keep it covered so I made a soft top using two aluminum bows and a thick commercial grade tarp with snaps for the top. It works great and I would use the trailer as a garage when I was on the road. This is also included with the sale. New this trailer cost $5K (I have the original invoice) and has over $2k in extras. It’s a great deal for an awesome trailer at my asking price. Clean North Carolina Title in hand.
