The owner of the fed ex line haul fleet just sells us all his trades when he is buying newer trucks for his fleet. We are a semi tractor repair shop that has been working on trucks for the last 28 years. We Inspected this unit and found the following.
Steer Tires 35% Drive Tires 60% nicely worn Steer Brakes 90% Drive Axle Brakes 75%
Detroit Diesel DD15 Transmission Eaton FRO16210C
Newer Parts on truck Air Dryer Egr Valve Motor High presure fuel pump Fuel filter module Fuel lines Injectors
We Went through the truck and repaired Replaced Air Compressor and coolent line
Truck Will Pass dot inspection
I picked up this truck and drove it home 100 plus miles and found this truck runs and drives great. Very clean and tight. Ice cold A/C.
The truck has no warning lights on in dash. All systems factory no CEL ,DEF or ABS Lights on.
the truck has 2 active faults in Sam Cab Ecu 1 utilitly light and back up light current faults. Truck also needs new inner bumper supports
