From our fleet and excess to our needs, for sale - 1 - 2012 MAC 38" x 60" Frameless End Dump Trailer.
This trailer is scheduled for replacement this year. It has been in our fleet since new and has been well maintained. We are trading it out because we do not need the height to haul our materials legally. We haul mostly sand and gravel and the density makes for a pretty small volume. It has 60" sides and a 7" tall aluminum board permanently attached. The bulkhead extends the full 67". We use a shorter sided trailer throughout our fleet now because we are moving to all day-cab trucks.
I have examined the trailer closely and have only found two weld cracks in the tub strap connection where the gussett for the running gear connects to the body. It is on both sides and I have included pictures. There is also a repair towards the top of the body, about midway back on the RHS. It has probably been hit with a loader tooth but I can find no indentation.
The body has a 1/2 height liner in good shape, a Mountain flip tarp and a front entry door as required by MSHA to enter the body on a mine site. There are no front fenders on the trailer. The draft arms are good and straight with out breaks at the connections. There is no cracking around the hoist box or 5th wheel. Of course it has an outboard dump cylinder.
The trailer pulls and dumps perfectly and is ready for work. The tires are 24.5 and probably average better than 50%. This is a very nice used trailer. It is from our fleet and is located at our gravel pit in Gallipolis Ferry, WV. A new trailer of similar specs runs about $65,000.00 including the liner and tarp. You are seeing it as it is. We have not cleaned it up or tried to misrepresent it in any way. If the need arises, we will pull this trailer immediately until its replacement arrives or it is purchased.
