These Vantage trailers were only made for a couple model years. They were designed to be a low floor fuselage-style trailer like the Airstream for buyers looking to spend much less. We are the original owners, the trailer was bought new in Southern California and has always been here.
It is the desirable 32-foot rear-bedroom model so it has the sofa and dinette up front and the large store cabinets in the hallway. We’ve only had it out on about 10 trips so mileage is low—about 12k. The tires are only 2 years old with full tread depth. It has MorRyde leaf spring equalizers and EZ-Lube drop axles. One large slide for the kitchen. There’s basement storage at the left rear.
This trailer has aluminum wall framing (not wood like most trailers) and vacuum-bonded composite sidewalls (not fiberglass) so it is very light and durable. It weighs 7600lbs empty, with a 1015lb tongue weight, so it tows very smooth and stable with no sway. Also, because of its low ride height it’s less susceptible to cross winds. An added benefit is that it is towable by half-ton trucks and SUVs. We currently tow it with a Ram EcoDiesel 1500 and it averages 14mpg on most trips, which is amazing for such a large RV. We get lots of compliments and questions at campgrounds and gas stations from other RVers who Haven’t seen these before.
We keep it extremely clean; it smells new inside with no odors or stains. Interior is excellent. The small pull-out pantry has a broken track but it’s still usable. Everything else (including appliances, furnace and A/C) work correctly. It has rooftop ducted A/C and a ducted floor furnace.
