2012 Freightliner M2 Business Class. Truck has been used for and is ready for expediting freight. Truck is 40 feet long overall. ICC bumper. Two tool boxes underneath box. Box specifications: 22 feet long. 4 levels of E-track. 2 swing open doors. Landing gear dolly is used to allow forklifts to drive into box. Floor is rated to hold forklift. Bunk specifications: 8 feet long. Full size bed lower level, twin size bed upper level. Two benches could seat four people. Table for office work or dining. Built in refrigerator and freezer. Built in microwave oven/electric oven. Closet for hanging clothes. There is a lot of storage. All of the space in the bunk is utilized for storage. On board fresh water is easily filled with on board hose from any garden hose spigot. Sink uses the water from the onboard tank. Truck stops have fresh water available at the fuel island or at their shop. Gray water tank. Heat and air conditioning keep the bunk comfortable while the truck is driving down the road or parked with the truck engine off. Multiple 110 volt receptacles. Room on the counter for your coffee maker. Power ceiling vent with fan. (Fan is not working.) Multiple lighting points: Dim rope lighting is easy on your eyes, bright ceiling light, over the counter light, over the table light, over the bunk light. APU specifications: There is an APU which is an "Auxiliary Power Unit." This is a separate engine/generator that is used instead of the truck engine. The APU is controlled from inside the bunk. It has multiple settings. A few things the APU does: Keeps bunk at the temperature you set it, warm or cool. Keeps the main engine warm in the winter for better wear and easy start up. Can be set to automatically charge the batteries at whatever voltage you choose. Monitors battery voltage, inside temperature, outside temperature. Suspension and drive specifications: The cab and bunk are air ride. The truck itself is also air ride. Truck just had 2 axle alignment instead of just the front axle. This is important for tire wear and handling. The front springs have just been rebushed. High/Lo jake brake makes stopping safer and easier.
