Vehicle description
Oh title, 2012 Chevy express 4500 Duramax diesel 6.6 L 21 passenger transit bus, has wheelchair lift, automatic door, overhead AC units, StarCraft by Forest River body package.
Right now the secondary electronics system which runs the door AC television lights and etc. has a dead battery and has a short somewhere in one of the wires that we have never dealt with. History as we purchased it from a government auction from the city of Boca Raton in 2018
We paid $9000 for it plus tax tag title, After that we fixed a broken window on the automatic door, where it looked like they must’ve hit a curb and clipped a small area at the bottom of the window to break it. That happened before we bought it at auction
We also put $6500 into a new DPF system for the bus (exhaust system)
All in all we have about $20,000 in the bus including paying insurance for it for the past three years.
We had every intention of getting it fixed mechanically first and then cosmetically second and we only made it through the mechanical part and part of the cosmetic part we were going to turn it into a brewery tour and a show for business but that never happened because of the extra expenses we incurred with the DPF system, and then Covid hit we put a complete dampening on all of those plans. At this point we are seeking to recoup some of the lost investment and just MoveOn and pursue other business matters
Any questions please message
