I am selling a 2011 17" Casita, which is a nice and light fiberglass trailer that is made in Texas. According to the ownership, it weights 1263 kg, which presumably means almost any car could tow it. It has a 3 way Dometic fridge, 2 burner propane stove, hot water tank, microwave, bathroom with shower, dining table that sits four and folds to be a bed for two and another table for two, which lowers to a single bed, sleeping 3 people in total. It has a nice big fan that can take air in and extract as well. It also has a heater/air conditioner, which has an issue. The fan works but the air con and heat don"t switch on. It has all of the stock items and was occasionally used by my parents who were the second owners. My parents and I had a wonderful, problem free trip, driving it from Ontario to Vancouver Island in July 2019 with my two dogs. Since then, I have only used it a couple of times and need to clear my driveway, hence the sale.
Besides the issue with my air conditioner/heater, I believe everything is in good working order. The trailer is not in mint condition but cleans up reasonably well. It is currently registered with Ontario plates. If needed, I"m open to registering it in BC before doing the transfer.
I am looking for a quick sale and am open to offers. I am potentially willing to deliver in Canada if necessary for fuel and ferry expenses . However, my preference is to sell it to somebody that can see it in person so they know exactly what they"re getting. It"s being sold "as is". Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions and I"ll try my best to answer them. I have some videos but struggled to upload them with the photos.
I would strongly suggest looking up some of these online, as they are hard to find, especially in Canada. In the USA, as they seem to sell for about 14 000 USD.
If looking to purchase from the USA, you will need to arrange for somebody to pick it up in Canada. I can possibly bring it to a nearby border point and you"ll need a transport service to pick it up due to current restrictions on border travel.
