Vehicle description

The most popular of Tiger models, the Bengal is classic, dependable, and the original truck-mounted Tiger. Since 1991 the Bengal has remained the gold standard for adventure vehicles, offering comfort and convenience with the off-road 4X4 performance required to carry the Tiger name. It possesses all the core Tiger brand characteristics, and features a high roof-line (10-ft, 6-inches) and interior ceiling height (6-feet, 4-inches) to accommodate taller owners. This Bengals starts on a Chevrolet one-ton 4X4 truck chassis, standard cab, and 6 liter Vortec, gasoline engine. From there, find a lightweight but durable coach frame, surrounding it with wood, fiberglass, and insulation. The end result is a sturdy, all-season cabin fix-mounted directly to the truck chassis. There is a convenient pass-through beneath the overhead bed to the cabin. Inside, the Bengal has an open, living-room style floor plan. It features a full-size overhead bed and a fold-out L-shaped couch made of durable fabric, a full galley kitchen with a composite countertop, solid maple wood cabinets, and durable vinyl flooring. There is an enclosed wet bath, with a full-size toilet and handheld shower head. All Bengals come standard with 100-watts of solar, 220-AH of maintenance-free AGM batteries, a 9,600-BTU air conditioner, and a 2800-watt generator. Hand-built in Columbia, South Carolina, the Bengal offers unparalleled craftsmanship, secure handling, and off-road performance. (The above description is from the Tiger Adventure vehicle website). The transfer was done professionally by the previous owner to accomplish the following: - Shorter wheel base than the extended cab for greater maneuverability. Can easily get through tight spaces in town, parking lots, gas stations, or on the back roads. Easy to park in a regular spot or on a Forest Service road. - Lighter weight; better gas mileage. - More compact area to climate control; A/C or heat. - Maintains front console, which is lost in the extended cabs. This is a used vehicle. It has the customary blemishes and dings.
