this auction is for a motorcycle pull behind trailer. it was made from a harbor freight flatbed trailer using the common trailer build blueprints found on the internet for motorcycle trailers. the trailer box itself measures 48" long, 30" wide and 20" high. overall measurements are 78" long and 44" wide. the basic kit weighed 151 pounds before it was cut down to a motorcycle sized pull behind. the framework is lightweight 1" square tubing wrapped in a lightweight aluminum shell. I don"t imagine the whole trailer weighs more than maybe 160 pounds. I built it in 2010 and took it on a two month vacation from Jersey, all through the Carolinas and down to Florida, then back to Jersey. you can"t tell it"s even behind the bike. Only time when I knew it was back there was when I was doing 80 mph on rt 95 past the Harley dealer in Ormond beach looking at the sights, Traffic had stopped in front of me (that I didn"t see) and I had to brake extremely hard because I was doing 80 and the cars a few hundred feet in front of me were dead stopped. it felt like stopping a bike with a passenger sitting behind you. however, I DID have the trailer loaded with weight. It served it"s purpose to me, now it"s time to pass along to someone else. local pick up only
