I have for sale a 2010 Freightliner Cascadia No Reserve ! Detroit DD15 550HP, Eaton 13 speed manual transmission. Was told by a dealer it is a 550hp. I am not making any guarantee.
2010 FREIGHTLINER CASCADIA No RESERVE . Condition is "Used". And being sold where as and as is.
This Cascadia DD-15 engine is pre DEF! EPA 07 Eng !
The engine was diagnosed with a crack in cylinder 5 or 6 cylinder liner. There was evidence of water in the oil. Pan was dropped for diagnosis and oil drained. Engine currently has no oil in it . Truck has roughly 1.5 mil miles. This is and was a great running truck with lifetime mpg of 7.0 mpg plus. lack of funds for repair force the sale of the truck. Repair est. for eng swap $22,500
The following parts have been replaced recently. Receipts are available to verify repairs and parts replaced., however I haven"t been able to locate receipt for Air Compressor. Eaton 13 spd Transmission has roughly 200,000mi, including oil lines, rear main seal, and clutch assy. Turbo bout 2 yrs ago. New injectors 1 1/2 ago. Air Compressor, Air Dryer and discharge hose 5 months ago. 2 steer tires and front drive axle tires like new. 4 new batteries only a few months old. Injector cups replaced 3 months ago. complete Cam housing assembly. all replaced about 2 yrs ago. new cams, housing, rockers, etc. .all new. starter 4-5 months ago. just had all bearings inspected. front steer wheel seals replaced. has new oil cooler and water pump about 1 yr old. rear differential seal has slight leak. repair was scheduled just prior to engine failure. repair est. $150.00 including replacing diff fluid. All fluids are synthetic. Truck has dual 100 gal fuel tanks which are FULL, about 175 gal. (traveled about 50 mi before eng failed)
perform new in-frame re-sleeve and ready to roll !
has air ride suspension, power windows and mirrors. bunk heater, dual bunks. air slide 5th wheel. stainless steal drop visor. 100g fuel tanks.
THIS ENGINE WILL TURN OVER. IT WILL START. IT WILL RUN. HAS BAD KNOCK DUE TO BROKEN CYLINDER LINER. BATTERIES ARE CURRENTLY DEAD. (MECHANIC LEFT INTERIOR LIGHTS ON) HOWEVER, BATTERIES ARE NEW. JUST NEED CHARGING.
DO NOT START ENGINE. IT CURRENTLY HAS NO OIL IN IT. STARTING IT WILL CAUSE MORE DAMAGE.
Truck is a NON RUNNER and will need to be towed from its current location by you! Blown engine. Has broken/cracked cylinder liner. I was told either cyl 5 and/or cyl 6. but this is not guaranteed just what i was told. Batteries dead.
