Vehicle description
This is a very well built trailer by Down To Earth trailers. The trailer bed length is 40". I carry two Crew cab 2500"s on here with no problem. The bed width is 82" so there is enough room to carry single rear wheel trucks and any car or SUV. I have hauled 4 Honda UTV"s as well. This trailer has been completely rebuilt. It has the following new equipment: 1. Gooseneck 2. Both Axles & Hubs 3. All wiring 4. Lights 5. Brakes 6. Paint 7. Springs 8. U Bolts The only thing not new is the bed of the trailer. This trailer has electric brakes that work perfectly. When I say it has a new gooseneck I mean the entire front end of the gooseneck not just the piece that fits to your truck. The trailer pulls straight down the road with no issues. I have used it quite a bit but have purchased a new 4 car trailer. The left fender has been altered for easy removal when loading a car or shorter vehicle in the rear position on the trailer. This allows you to easily open the door of the vehicle you are driving. Truck doors clear the fender without problem. Business: I used this trailer in 2015 as my only source of income. Hauling two vehicles at a time and Driving 4 days per week/3 weeks per month I grossed $125,000.00. With fuel this trailers net income was around $95,000.00. The tires have about 10,000 miles on them. They are 14ply and seem to last quite a long time. I replaced the springs, brakes and axles and they have around 2000 miles on them. The original gooseneck developed a crack so I had the entire front end replaced. The trailer shop told me it probably wasn"t necessary but I did it anyway. I have had no problems with this trailer. We have kept her in fresh paint and looking professional since we bought her. I am almost 60 years old and do not drive over 8 hours per day. A go getter would make more money. If you are simply looking for a great trailer and not wanting to make money with it. This trailer has been pampered. One of the rear locking bolts for a ramp is broken. I have used a strap to secure it. The piece would probably cost around $5 or $6 to replace. I just don"t use the trailer anymore. The legs work fine but one of them is a little cocked. I have had no issues with it supporting the trailer. The trailer weighs about 5500 lbs and is built like a tank. Every shop that I have had it in says this is a strong built trailer.
