Vehicle description
Here"s the story: I purchased this about 5 years ago damaged from a fire with ~25k miles. Crazy enough, there was not and is still no smell of smoke in this unit at all (wife confirmed). I flew to PA with a box of tools suspecting a crazy trip home to MN with absolutely no issues. I proceeded to completely remove the interior, replace the damaged roof (patched in) and rebuilt/painted the side by a professional body shop(mostly the 24" slide-out where you can see the slight paint mismatch), proceeded to install all new appliances (frig, stove, microwave), a new u-shape couch, repaired the table, recovered the other couch, repaired an 8" circle on the floor, new ceiling tile, new carpet, new cabinet faces where needed, replaced A/C units, repainted all the woodwork a brick red brown, and hit the road. I received a salvage title with this unit which I sent into the state of MN after I got it inspected by the state only to receive a title saying "not actual mileage" rather than "prior salvage" as MN titles normally say after repairs and inspection - I opted not to fight it (6 of one, 1/2 a dozen of the other).
This is a 35" 340 hp Cummins diesel pusher on a Freightliner Chassis so air ride and air brakes. I normally get around 10 mpg. It has a master bedroom in the back and a couch up front that folds out into a bed (with air mattress) hence the reason I decided to recover rather then replace. Porcelain toilet in the bathroom. It holds 75 gallons of water, 100 gallons of fuel, and I believe has a 100 gallon LP tank. Onboard 6500 water Onan Diesel generator with a couple starting buttons inside and shares the fuel tank. Hydraulic auto leveling is nice to have. I now have all new house batteries, and newer front tires. The rest of the tires are in fine condition. I would drive this anywhere (been to WI several times, Iowa, SD, NE, and FL). Very minor issues over the years with a water pump, alternator and a hydraulic pump.
The reason I am selling this as a project is I have always been working on the details. You can absolutely drive it as/is and never look back. What I know could still be done includes window shades, a few cabinet doors (you can see a few missing over the stove), new roof (the patch does not leak) but the roof has some sag I tried to show in the photos, repair the lower latch (in the photos), paint the cabinet insides, new tail pipe (show in the photos), replace the water level screen (never has worked), install master bedroom doors, install the roll-out cover for the 24" slide-out (I have some of the parts), and recover front seats (in the photos). I am selling this rig AS/IS. I may be able to assist with delivery (I would suggest discussing with me prior to the auction"s end).
This is by no means a perfect rig. I would as new it was a mid quality design at around $200k. I am trying to list everything I know of. We have had a blast with it using it mostly for short family traveling rather than long camping trips. You are welcome to call me with any questions (218.820.5041). I do not have any photos prior to the repairs.
