Selling our extremely clean 2009 Winnebago view 24J. This motorhome only has 47,000 miles and is in exceptional condition. I think you would be hard-pressed to find a cleaner better maintained used motorhome. I am an ex-mechanic and try to keep my vehicles meticulous. Look at my history. I have sold some motorcycles and snowmobiles on Ebay and everyone was very happy with their purchase and said items were nicer than discribed. The Winnebago view is based off of the Mercedes Benz/Dodge 3500 sprinter chassis. This set up uses a 3 L Mercedes diesel engine that consistently returns between 16 and 18 miles per gallon. We occasionally pull a Toyota Corolla on a dolly and still get 13 miles to gallon. If you are interested in this motorhome I will also be selling the Toyota Corolla and car dolly if interested. You could make a package deal and be 100% ready to hit the road. But this auction is for the motorhome only. I did a lot of research before I purchased this motorhome. Through my research I learned that there were only a couple of years that Mercedes used this engine combination before they had to switch it over to use DEF solution for EPA reasons. Once they had to switch over to running the DEF solution there were a lot more electronic monitors added to the vehicle which reduced reliability. Do your research and you will find that this is one of the best years for the Winnebago View. I have had zero issues with this motorhome since owning it and the only reason we are selling it is because we have decided to buy a vacation house. The Winnebago view 24J is also the most popular floor layout for the View. This View was ordered with every option available from Winnebago minus the full body paint. It does have the upgraded graphics kit from the factory. The outside finish on this view still has the factory shine with no sticker peel or fade at all. The front windshield and side windows have retractable privacy shades. We keep this motorhome in the North during the summer and we store it down in Texas under roof during the winter. You can google 2009 Winnebago view brochure and actually look at the original sales brochure for this model. But a few of the options are, full ultra leather interior including the dinette, overhead entertainment system which includes a huge flatscreen TV and extra storage, heated tanks,upgraded graphics on the exterior and the cherry wood cabinets. It also comes with a opening sky light with sun shade and bug screen. It even has a added tv in the bedroom that was not offered at the factory. The dashboard radio was upgraded to a touch screen unit that includes satellite radio and the factory wood dash kit was added. This model does include a factory back up camera and a propane generator that is super quiet. I just installed six new Michelin top of the line tires. Obviously there is a lot to discuss when purchasing a new motorhome. This is my third motorhome after owning a couple of other class C’s with the Ford V 10 engine. And I can honestly tell you this motorhome gets almost twice the mileage and is way easier and fun to drive. I’m sure I am forgetting some of the options.
