Vehicle description
For sale is 2009 Trailmanor 3023 hard-sided pop-up/travel trailer. The Trailmanor is a very unique camper. It was designed with the purpose of being pulled by a minivan (we pulled it with a Highlander Hybrid) and fitting into a standard size garage (with the swing away tongue). When opened, it sleeps like a 30 foot travel trailer and when closed, it pulls like a 23 foot pop-up. It is extremely light weight and has no particle wood at all in it"s construction. Hence, this light weight design is how they justified the original $31,000 sticker price.
This camper is incredibly easy to setup and can be done by yourself. We transitioned to this from a regular pop-up and the Trailmanor takes about 1/4 the time to be in a ready to eat/shower/sleep state.
It has everything a full size camper has to include a rear queen bed, a front double bed, a love seat, a full couch that turns into a twin bed, a built in dining table with extension, a full kitchen sink, 3 way refrigerator, 13,500 AC, Furnace, 3 burner stove, oven, full bathroom with shower, sink, fan, medicine cabinet, and recirculating toilet, 2 way 6 gal hot water heater, outside shower, awning, dual propane tanks, stabilizer jacks, Fantastic fan, fresh and gray water tanks, power tongue jack, a 2" trailer hitch for toting bikes, etc.
There is a ton of storage in this camper to include under the couches, a full wardrobe, under cabinet and outside storage. Another benefit of the design is the ability to store things like bikes, chairs, and umbrellas under the beds and keep them out of the weather. Every window on the camper opens with screens and on the those nice spring/fall days, the air moves right through the camper. All of those windows lets in a lot of light if you slide back the curtains or keeps it dark with the blinds closed when you want to sleep in. Both beds have privacy curtains.
We just came back from our yearly 2 week camping vacation at First Landing State Park in Virginia Beach. The AC ran 24/7 for 2 weeks straight and kept us nice and cool in the 95 degree heat. Everything worked perfectly on the camper. It doesn"t leak a drop and can be popped up and down in the rain without the inside getting wet.
The only issue with the camper is some cosmetic dings caused by a hail storm in February. It is totally cosmetic, caused no leaks, and didn"t even crack the vent covers. Due to the lightweight aluminum/foam sandwiched construction, a falling walnut can dent the roof. Again, this has caused no structural or operational damage.
Last year the following things were done:
-Both tires/wheels were replaced.
-Bearings were repacked.
-Propane hose pigtails were replaced.
-Caulking around all of the roof vents was removed and replaced with Dicor self-leveling caulk (expensive).
-Vent covers replaced with the darker (tinted) version.
Everything can be demonstrated on the camper. Only selling it because the kids are getting older and not that interested in camping anymore. It has been cleaned, washed, and waxed and is ready it"s next owner. I respond quickly to emails.
