2009 Kaufman 50" gooseneck trailer, dovetail style, which means approximately 30" of flat deck and 13" of slanted. Began as a car hauler, but was not used for cars, as I had it modified for hauling boats. It has been a very reliable piece of equiment, and has been a great money maker. As it sits, it will carry one or two boats comfortably. The photos above are of two loads: two 24" boats, which fits very well, and a 28"/22" load, which was tight, but made it the 1,000 mile trip to Boston without incident. In my opinion, this type of trailer is the best bang for your buck since it can accommodate two mid size/larger boats easily, which is the most common need for boat transportation, and is capable of hauling cars in a pinch. Considering that a Broward purpose built trailer is 20k+ this trailer is a steal! If you want to get into hauling boats, this trailer is a great option, ready to work and very capable.
